How to start a support group in my area??

G’day everyone,

I live in South Australia and would love to start a support group in my state. The closest support group to me is about a 1,000 miles away. Obviously I cannot meet with these people in person due to distance. I had a call recently via this support organisation from someone in my state also with GBS, who lived some distance from me, wanting to know if there was anyone close to where she lived who could offer support. It seems there is a need for this support group.
I was contacted through this website once from a family in my state who’s mother had GBS. I met with the family at the hospital and I think my presence helped the family.

I don’t know how to start this off. Any ideas would be appreciated.
