Help a Child with Cancer

Here is a story from a young boy not far from where I live and at work we are collecting birthday card for him. Also today I got this as an email.

You can help make a boy’s dream come true…

Shane Bernier is a 7-year-old from Lancaster with big plans for his eighth
birthday. Shane is a young cancer patient at CHEO. His eighth birthday
is May 30th and he’d like to set a new record for the number of birthday
cards received. His mother says that every time he sees his name on a card
he’s very happy and told his mom that it would be great if he could get
lots of cards for his birthday. Shane is a hit with the CHEO staff however
the birthday card record is really steep… 350 million cards!!!

It’s been a pretty rough ride for Shane and his mom would do anything to
help him do this for his birthday. She says that when you see him with a
smile on his face it means everything…

My Mom was his bus driver so this one really hits close to home for us, so
please take the time to drop him a card anytime before May 30th and help
make this little boy’s dream come true…
