Heart Problems

Hi All: I just wanted to ask if any of you were told that the GBS has damaged your autonomic nervous system. I have been told that mine is damaged and shows it by causing variant Angina. I’m now on a Nitro patch and Nitroglycerine when the chest pain is so severe. I had a heart cath & it showed the blood flow stopping during an attack. It is pretty scary beacuse they told me if by the 3rd Nitro I need to get to the hospital because I may not come out of it.

Thanks Gene. It seems not many have developed this type of problem, at least not many that I have heard about. Thank again.

‘A number of studies have shown that various levels of autonomic function instability are frequent in GBS sufferers, ranging from severe to mild involvement. The figure has been put at between 65% and 80%.’
