I received my normal Depo Provera injection on a Thursday, but by Friday morning, my legs were really achy. By Monday my calves were burning and I was off balance when I walked, so went to doctor. By Wednesday I saw Neurologist and I was walking like Frankenstein. I had MRI, and cause was not determined. Neologist blew me off. A month+ later after further degeneration, I saw another Neurologist and had Spinal Tap which I was then diagnosed with GBS possibly due to Depo Provera Injection, but Neurologist said it would be hard to prove. I was wondering if anyone else had same experience with Depo Provera and GBS diagnose.
Just this week there have been several articles about the dangers of this bc method. I believe it has been given a black box warning now. Please research it.
