GBS after root canal

Hello, I was diagnosed with GBS last year on Dec 24 and spent 6 days at the hospital, luckily I’ve been able to recover most of my functions, but I wanted to see if anybody else was diagnosed after a root canal procedure?

Early Dec I had my first root canal ever, on a tooth that didn’t even hurt but my dentist pressured me to get a root canal. My doctors kept asking me if I was sick with any viruses before I got GBS and I was not sick at all before that month, and the only thing I could think of was the root canal.

Anyways I came across a website by Dr. Hal Huggings who was I guess studying the onset of autoimmune disorders after root canals.

I’m wondering if anybody else had the same situation happen? Or do you believe this can be totally not related. I have a tooth that is bothering me and I’m terrified to go back to the dentist after what happened.
