Can anyone help me with the math please?

I’ve stated many times before that my brain does not wrap itself around math. It’s getting pretty ridiculous lately too. I just do not get it! Anything beyond normal addition, subtraction, multiplication & division makes my brain hurt, LOL.

      Anyway…

Emily is currently 93 lbs & getting 20 grams of IVIG every 5 weeks.

I’m wondering if anyone can figure out how many grams per kg she is getting. PLEASE?

And then if you could also give me the formula (in the very most basic form) so I could use it in the future.

      Thanks!

Also…Emily is now a 5th grader! She turns 10 on Friday. I just cannot believe it!

      Thanks for the help.

I totally knew the formula to figure that out once I saw it.

The 20 grams is per day. She gets an infusion every 5 weeks now.

      Thanks again.

I weigh 175 and get 30 grams per day, 3 consecutive days a week for two weeks. One week off and then it repeats. I’ve had this regimen for 3 years. I understand that it is different for everyone.

      Dear Midilance,

The math doesn’t vary…the protocal is 2g/kg body weigh:
I weigh 175 and get 30 grams per day, 3 consecutive days a week for two weeks.
175 divided by 2.2 = 79 kg x 2 = 158 divided by 5 = 31 grams/day. The two doctors regimens vary.

      Warmest regards.
