Already on Prednisone before CIDP

I have a rare form of arthritis called Adult onset Stills Disease. I have been on prednisone, currently 5 mg prednisone and 20 mg methotrexate. Not started any meds for CIDP…You THINK, I will get IVIG ???:confused:

Both Prednisone and Methotrexate are used to treat CIDP, so your physicians may already be treating both your CIDP and your arthritis. If and when you receive IVIG is best determined in consultation with your neurologist and/or rheumatologist. I have never heard of anyone receiving both those drugs AND IVIG at the same time. I have heard of people with CIDP receiving Prednisone and IVIG together.
