My Mom has been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks with a diagnosis of GBS of the AIDP varient. She was intubated for a little over a week and still has significant paralysis, but her medical team is pushing for her to transition to an acute rehab facility at the beginning of next week. Does anyone have a recommendation for an acute rehab facility in the Baltimore-Washington area? We are leaning towards either Washington Hospital or Adventist in Takoma Park. Does anyone have any direct experience with these facilities?
We need to make a decision in the next day or two, so any feedback that can be provided quickly would be much appreciated.
