Dental questions post MFV/GBS

      Hi all,

Been a long time since I’ve been here. Long overdue for support! Glad I found my way back. I had MFV / GBS in 2002.
Bad Flare up in 2006, and suffer from residuals all the time, sometimes think I have a form of CIDP.

Anyways my question is for those that have dental work done after our nerves in our face/cranial area have been damaged.

EVERY TIME I have dental work done, it is TRAMATIC!!!

I had to have a filling replaced today and another placed, which for the normal everyday Joe would be easy peasy!

Not me, I am in extreme pain again after this dental work! Every time I have had to have a tooth drilled on, it inevitably turns into a root canal / crown due to the sensitivity and pain after the attempt to just fill a tooth.

I am sick to death of this! Makes me not want to go to the dentist at all! Not to mention I can’t afford another crown or root canal, if that ends up happening, I am having it flat out pulled.

Anyone else have these problems with dental work post MFV/GBS?

      Schel
