Kentucky Picks…

Dick, I had my (1st) RT Knee Replacement on Mar 9th. Unfortunately, I was dropped by the Hospital Aid while making the transfer into my Ford Expedition on Mar 12, and the foot from the knee hyper-extended under my thigh & Butt. The Surgeon thought “maybe” after the swelling went down, and limited weight on my right knee, the knee “may have healed.” Well, that did not work…so, on May 25th I had a Revision Surgery on the right knee – Or another total Replacement. I have had issues with this surgery, and it is not healing as well as the 1st surgery. I am still taking (for one more week) therapy…and that is not any fun – but slowly getting there.

The Sad part of this story…my two sons were going to take me to the KY races. Well, they are there and I am home, so that idea went down the tubes – but there is always next year.:) For right now, I just want my knee well!!
