I saw Dr Rajeev Motiwala this past summer. My neurologist on Long Island asked me to get a second opinion. She figured that they see more patients with CIDP and may have other answers.

He was wonderful. I faxed him all my records and a diary I had kept of all the events with my condition. When i got there, he had already read everything and had my paperwork in piles on his desk and had highlighted portions,which confirmed that he actually read my file.

He spend an hour with me and wrote a list of things that needed to get done and wrote a thorough letter to my doctor.

He didn’t take my insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket $600.00 (well worth it), and then I submitted to insurance for out of network.
