Naltexone for CIDP ?

I was listening to conventional and alternative medicine physican guru Dr. Julian Whitaker on the radio the other day and he was saying how he’s having great success at treating autoimmune diseases including Multiple Sclerosis with low dose Naltexone (4.5 mgs) daily. This is already approved by the FDA for treating Drug Addiction (50 mg daily) but at low dose it has the innate ability to restore the immune fuction to be normal. He mentioned most Doc’s don’t push it cause its patent has expired so not much money to be made by the drug companies. Anyway i wasn’t sure if DocDavid or others here had heard of this or if its been discussed here before and maybe we could ask our Neurologist’s about this. He said its a pill and cost about $30.00 a month. Extremely cheaper than IVIG at about $8,000 to $10,000 dollars a month.

Any thoughts one way or the other?… ericc….
