I”m having problems with my veins again. When I had the central line taken out, they were somewhat good. At least blood could be drawn….. now having blood drawn is a problem once again. I’m not sure what to think? 🙁

      Hey Ford
I was always and easy ***** (ha) but since GBS it usual take four or five pokes of the first person then he/she get frustrated calls in a pro and usual that person gets it on the first try. Sometime they need to go in the back of my hand and that hurts if they don’t get it right away. I am at the point that I hate getting blood drawn. Doctors say GBS caused muscle tone loss coupled with vein size reduction (but their only guessing as always)

My story is exactly like Harry’s. My veins were easy to spot and draw blood from before GBS. Almost four years after GBS and they are still very difficult to find. My doctors seemed to think this was very usual. I personally think the veins basically say enough is enough and retreat for their own survival.
