Gene ???????/

      Has our good friend passed away ? I have not been on here for a few months and am used to seeing Gene posting or replying to almost every post. Gene, if you are still with us I am glad, but know if you are not your are in a better place.

      I have been in alot of pain and get depressed and don’t want to talk to no one, and not even talk to my friends on this GBS site. Look forward from someone replying to this thread and answering my question.

      Hi Drummer,
      Nice to see you back again, sorry you are not feeling well. There was just a storm here and now the sun is out and has brought a rainbow, I am sending you those beautiful happy colors to brighten your day. Regarding your question about Gene, yes, he has passed, maybe about two months or so ago. I think Cheryl (angel2ndclass) has take over his take care be well signature to carry on his memory. It is nice to see it with her signature, it is like Gene is still around!!! Hope tommorrow goes well for you!

      I just learned of Gene’s passing. I am very sorry to hear this, he was very helpful to me and I’m sure many others. Does anyone know what happened?:( I just found Gene’s goodbye post….sad sad, very sad.

      Gene learned that he had leukemia only a few short weeks before he passed on. This family has a huge empty spot as he gave so much of himself to all of us. Just in case you missed another post, DocDavid has joined Gene. We’ve had a lot of losses this past year . . .

      Thanks for letting us know of Gene’s passing. I was afraid something had happened when I did not see him replying to the recent posts. I know we all miss him, but am sure he has friends and family on the other side. Does anyone know how old Gene was ? I don’t want to keep this thread going, so if you don’t reply that is ok.
      Doc David’s passing was news to me also. I always looked forward to reading the Doc’s posts first, as I wanted to see what the “Doc” had to say. I did appreciate his time with us on this site.
      Would it be appropiate to have a site we could go to on here to learn of the recent passing, say at least the last 6 months, of our GBS friends ? I don’T want to be mean or hurtful or offend anyone by suggesting this, but I think it would be less hurtful for someone to check there, a listed site here, instead of having someone to respond to inquires of a passing by someone like me.
