We probably would not get approval. This forum was destroyed by a hacker and they accessed it through the chat room we had. The forum was re-built but administrators chose not to restore a chat room.

Why would anyone destroy this forum–would it be because they posted something that might have gotten them into trouble, I wonder?
I was very upset about that because I had told a very detailed account of the events which led up to my GBS in Jan. 2005 and would loved to have referred to it in Jan 2011 when I got my second bout.Ray

I didn`t know the story of there used to be a chat room.

Just so you know, it was not a forum member who brutally hacked our forum. If you want more info about what happened, try calling the number for GBS-CIDP and talk to an administrator. Taking down the chat room was to protect us. And of course you wouldn’t have known, I’m an old time member. I think this happened in 2006. My memory has been effected by CIDP.
