๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m just curious as to the price of gas in other areas, it has been going down here. I paid $2.39.9 last night at a Shell station in the town I work out of, I’d like to see how much difference there is in other states.

$2.65 in my area for regular. Was over $3.00 a few weeks ago.

My theory has been for the last 2-3 years, that gas prices go up from May to Sept. for vacation time throughout the U.S.

Its kind of strange the price ranges from $2.89 in the town where I live to $2.59 in a town 20 miles away to $2.38 just over the line in parts of Texas.
This is all within a 50 mile radius????
I think the whole thing is so rigged that they can’t get together on the rigging.

there are a few stations here that are down to $2.17 a gallon. one of the grocery stores run a spend so much and get so much off a gallon of gas-that store is at $2.21-we have $.10 off that a gallon-so we would be paying $2.11. today we also got our gas card-good for $200.00 of gas for the next 3 months. funny thing is this gas card was applied for and offered back when prices were up in the $3 range. i’m not complaining or anything, but were was it when us not so rich people needed to borrow money or go without other things just to pay for a few gallons of gas.

Cunning move for your administration to keep the price of gas as low as possible now before your election;)

But no matter what, your price of gas will never come close to what we are paying in the oil- rich naton of Norway: about $6 a gallon!
So be happy -don’t worry!:)

Allaug, you have a good point except the government cannot influence gas prices directly. But it is quite possible that the oil companies have a hand in this and want to support the Republicans. However, they are saying it is just a matter of supply and demand.
