I’ve got a lot of shots to process, so I’m starting this new thread just for the Park…….

We went out to shoot the moonrise, but I took the opportunity to get a quick snapshot of the lake before it got too dark.

I’m not a wildlife photographer my longest lens is a 70-300, so I really couldn’t get a decent shot of elk that we saw the last night we were there…….

Here is the moon shot we gathered to take. There were some thin clouds that night, but perhaps they added a bit something to the shot, what with the halo they caused…..

On the way to Glacier Nat’l Park & Waterton Nat’l Park I took a side trip to the Craters of the Moon National Monument.
This area has an incredible display of lava flow, rocks and wildlife coexisting in some areas and just lava in others.

I chose this shot as representative of the area……..
