Here I will post again what I learned in the emotions seminar…it was presented by a PhD.

It was about the road to resilience.
Resilience was defined as the process of adapting well in the face of adversity.
It doesnt mean that you dont experience distress and emotional pain is common in those who have suffered a trauma.
It can be learned over time and developed by anyone:

      make connections-friends, support groups
      acceptance
      avoid negativity
see problems as so that you CAN handle them
      think positve about the future
accept change as part of living
      let go of unrealistic goals
      make realistic goals
      take action
      explore oppurtunity for self discovery
expect good thing can happen, have hope
      do things you enjoy
      stay flexible
find your strengths… ” I am a….good mom, wife, husband, etc
look for and ask for help.

I hope this posts this time.

      well wishes everyone,
      Stacey
