My greatest pet peeve? People who drive slow in the LEFT lane. I have a 32 mile/45 minute commute, one way, to work and it never ceases to amaze me how some moron will insist on staying in the left lane even though they’re driving 10-15 mph slower than everyone else around them. You’d think the mile of empty road ahead of them and the 50 cars stacked up bumper to bumper behind them would be a clue to move over, but usually not.

And telemarketers drive me nuts. Not at home, but at work. I’ll be waiting on a very important call from one of the big bosses at say, 3:00, and at 2:59 the phone rings. “Hi! I’m Rachel from Pickney Bowes Office Supplies! Can I interest you in…..” And to make matters worse, half the time it’s not even a real person, it’s a stupid recording. How can you have any fun antagonizing a recording? What a letdown….

Flies normally don’t bother me except what is really annoying that they seem to target my face and arms for some reason, especially when I am trying to take a nap. My touch nerves in my face and on the arms are still working fine and it tickles like h***. Why can’t they concentrate on my feet and lower legs instead. I wouldn’t notice a thing there. Well, it’s getting colder and I started to wear socks and long pants. So it wouldn’t make a difference anyhow.

My neighbor’s barking dog that starts at 0530 and doesn’t stop until 2100. After 4 weeks of this I finally complained and it has gotten better…we’ll see if it keeps up.

Honestly, this on is a biggie for me ….. Why is it I always loose one sock of each pair? I have two little ‘tubs’, one with colored socks and one with white socks that dont have their mate. I have tried to buy socks that are all the same, but sometimes it just doesnt work out. And the most irritating thing is, I hate to throw them away just in case the other one shows up years afterwards!

Giving out about someone who does something daft while driving – and then realising that I just did something daft!

People who follow the ‘it’s more than my job’s worth’ line – boring! (Unless they are on the breadline).

People who hear a hidden message in what you say – when there isn’t one!

People with some of the same faults that I have – it’s too much like looking in a mirror.

Customer Service personnel who ask you for your info (address, name, phone number) and then ask you to repeat it 2-3-4 times, then they repeat it back to you and it is still wrong so you have to tell them again before they finally get it correct. Grrr…

Now back to other things, I hate those political messages that are left on my answering machine. There was one on there yesterday from Bill Clinton, A few days ago we had one from Ron Lewis, the congressman from this area. Who’s next ? I’m about ready to throw my answering machine right out the front door. ๐Ÿ˜ก

Parents in too big of a hurry to talk to their kids with love and understanding. They would rather yell and break them down, all in the sake of time. Parents should slow down and enjoy their children at the moment.

You should only beat and yell at your kids at bed time. It helps them get to sleep faster. (just kidding) Give your kids the time and respect they deserve.

The world will thank you later!

Kids who refuse to work and expect their parents to take care of them forever … I had an aunt like this …

I have to caveat this by saying I am only referring to perfectly healthy “kids” and not kids with physical or mental challenges that might prevent them from participating in society.

Thanks Cheryl, for the missing part. I’ve been off the computer, because ours went down. Nice to be back.

Plus, I go in my denial stage. So, to keep to the theme of this thread, I’m annoyed at myself, because when I start to feeling better, I have visions of getting off of my IVIG and Cellcept. Then, I go down hill and into depression!! Optimism is good, but realism keeps me grounded!

Workers who come to do repairs on your house and create 5 times the problems by the time they leave. A roofer re-tarred my roof to stop a leak…now I have tar on my patio, sidewalk, in my rock garden, on my patio furniture/grill/firepit/child’s toy car/in my gutters and downspout/and the side of my house. Argh!!!!!

dustdemon 1 – we used to ahve the same problem with them in VA…I hated finding them all over my kitchen and ceilings in my house!!! Grrr..
