The Surgery went Well

hi all. i had the perotidectomy (removal of an egg size tumor and saliva gland) done last monday. the tumor is benign, thank god. i didn’t think this was such an easy surgery pain wise. i have a VERY high tolerance for pain, but this one really kicked my butt. there’s some kind of new procedure the doc. used, so i only have one huuuuuuuuuge stitch inside and i’m glued together on the outside. the swelling went down a lot, but my ear lobe is totally numb and i can’t do a full smile yet. i’m told this could take up to six months to come back to normal. i feel much better now. thank you all for your well wishes before i went in. all the prayers helped. love to all !!!

Oh I am so glad that everything went well. And that it is not a scary tumor. A prayer for a fast recovery!!
