The Long Walk Home

I have done a small home video which shows my progress, at the end walking just a few steps without my forearm crutches.

Over the year plus 4 months since contracting GBS, I and my family have made many videos and taken many pictures. All of this was at start for family records but we found that others were interested in seeing certain types of progress or not. I am glad to share them. The latest one spoken of can been seen at:

      Robert,
      Thanks for sharing.
You made the walk and it was interesting to watch you progress.

      Keep improving

I am up to 1000 steps per day but some days I overdo it and am fatigued. Coming up on my 66th birthday July 15. It has now been a year since release from the hospital…and a year and a half since I was diagnosed and put in ICU.

Progress is being made but every few days I have to take Oxycodone. That does nada for me usually but some days it works. If I take nothing things get pretty depressing..
