Congratulations to the Packers. I grew up in Chicago, but my mother and sister now live in Appleton so have become Green Bay fans.

Somewhat related to this, I wanted to share an article on ESPN.com that just came out about William Perry, ex Chicago Bears player. You may know that he was diagnosed a few years ago with GBS. The article shows that he is having a variety of difficulties in life, some of which are clearly self-imposed. However, the author really glosses over the fact that he has had neurological problems and is quite dismissive of that being the cause of any of his current woes. The author obviously could use a bit of education on the issue.

I live near Chicago, so you know who I wasn’t going for!! That being said, the truth is the truth, the Packers blew the Bears out of the water, they played great, we sucked and deserved to be beat. I kind of had a feeling they were going to win the Super Bowl. They were the better team that night. Congratulations, you guys were awesome! I think the hype of the rivalry is just some silly fun!! Those cheesehead hats are funny, you have to admit!! Honestly, since Favre left, I really don’t feel the rivalry anymore anyway!! I think you guys are way better off since he left!!
