Symptoms-When did they start?

Our Neurologist is convinced our two year old has GBS however my wife has misgivings since she feels that he had symptoms at least two months, or earlier than when the disease truly showed itself.

Does anyone else know when they began to show symptoms of GBS? Were there any signs even earlier that you could link to this?

We are concerned that this might be CIDP especially due to the possibility that the symptoms came so early. We are 6 weeks out from ‘recovery” just to give you an idea of the window we’re looking through.
