Surgery for me Tomorrow – 7/11

I’m being admitted Wednesday 7/11 at 10:30a for 12:30p surgery…..
It’s “minor” but can’t be out-patient. I’m hoping I’ll only
have to be in overnite, but won’t be surprised if I’m in longer.Needless to say, I am of course worried about anything and
everything post-GBS that could possibly kick off another episode! 🙁All the reassurances in the world won’t help…… 😡
There is also the matter of the risks of being put under for surgery,
and since 2000 when I awoke from major surgery (I had peritonitis
for 2 days!) in ICU on a respirator then put [U]OUT[/U] for several
days until I could breathe on my own, followed by a month in hospital
with nothing by mouth, not even water, I’m a wee bit “gun-shy”…… 😮Oh, did I mention that I am a pessimist too?
Anyway…..I’ll post as soon as I am able. Now, don’t worry! :rolleyes:

No need to be unsure about this. God brought you through GBS and he will bring you through this. God can do anything you are willing to allow him to do. Just put it in his hands and you will be in my prayers. God is good and you can do anything through Him who gives you strength!!!!
