Spent the day in the San Joaquin Valley around Escalon, California looking for some groves in bloom. We wanted to find some that were still pink, but most had already changed to white. We did find a pink grove later and I’ll post those separately when I get around to processing some.

All taken with my Nikon 70-300VR on a D200:

It’s not yet “Apple blossom time” in Norway, but I had this one from years back. Please don’t compare it with the excellent quality of Ken’s photos, but I\Hubby do the best we can.

In abt. two months time this year’s blossoms will be out at my island. I’ll try to get Hubby to take some new pic’s then, I’m still too shaky to get a “clear shot” myself.

Thanks Allaug……..I’m still a bit shaky and don’t have good balance, so I use a sturdy tripod and my lenses automatically adjust for any shake!
