rheumatology.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/reprint/47/2/208.pdf . Ok I know this issue has been hashed out before I was on this sight but this is so interesting I wanted to bring it up again in light of the “pain anyone?” thread. I believe this is an isolated study so I would take it in cautiously but even if it were just 5% true and if we were conservative and said that fibromyalgia has a prevelance of only 3 million people in this country, what does this study say about the true prevelence of CIDP.
I cant speak for cidpers because it is not even believed that I have CIDP but what ever I have undergoes some sort of metamorphasis from ascending weakness into defuse pain all over much like fibromyalgia is described so I find this study fascinating.
