      Hi all,

Despite our differences in diagnosis, a common binding interest among us is seeking information that improves Quality of Life.

I have a few items that I felt worth sharing. This forum has such caring and active members – I’m sure many of you will have interesting tips and relevant articles to contribute.

Exercise has been discussed many times before. Did anyone notice these articles relating to benefits of tai chi for peripheral neuropathy? Interesting & “doable”.

Here’s an excellent article from IG Living (April/May ’07) discussing Medicare determinations for coverage, guidelines on dosage, and advocating for ivig when treatment has been denied. This article has information for many neurological indications (not just immunodeficiency). It highlights the differences in implementation at the state level.

This can be useful for new patients/caretakers as many insurance companies look to Medicare to set the standard.

      cd,

Thank your for the links. I have been thinking of doing tai chi for some time now because exercise hurts my hands and feet, will read the article and definitely give it a try. My hustand bought Tai Chi for dummies the other day, must find the time to read that too.
