We had some very overcast conditions, but got rather lucky at sundown.

Got lucky with this shot……we tried to get as close as we could but this one got spooked…..I caught it mid-air with all four off the ground….. 🙂

Your photographs bring joy and are a “delight” every time. And how nice it may be to be able to create such images – or rather catch the object on your film in just the right nano-second, from the right angle and with the correct light-conditions!

In awe:

Thanks Cheryl!

After you copy the URL of the photo you click on the button above the text
entry screen and paste the URL into the box that appears. (Your Internet Browser or
Security program might stop the “pop-up” but you can override that.)

Here’s the “how to” for Flickr:
How do I get the URL of a photo?

To use the URL of a photo (like when you add a photo to your Blogger profile),
you must provide the web address (URL) of the image itself,
not the address of the web page where the image is displayed.

Here’s an example of a correct URL for a photo. Note the .jpg at the end:

Here’s an example of an incorrect URL for a photo.
It points to the web page where the image is displayed, not the image file itself.
Notice there’s no .jpg at the end.

(Click both of these links to see the difference.)

To get the URL of the actual image file, find the photo you want to use.
Click the “All Sizes” button above it and select the size you want.
If the photo is yours, two text fields appear below the photo.
The first contains a snippet of HTML that will produce the photo on your web site,
with a link back to the photo page on Flickr.
The second contains the URL of the image itself.
Simply copy and paste the one you want into your web site.

just ducky!!! thanks ken, it works! all it took were a few wacks against the modem!!!:D

the ducks are our daily visitors, they walk up and down the block everyday. they like my birdseed and goodies. last year they built their nest in our bushes until they were scared out by the construction crews putting in the lower gas lines.:( hopefully they will return someday.
