I just wanted to say to all the kids how proud i am for everything they have been through and for what they have achieved. I know how hard it was for me and i am an adult … how on earth is a child supposed to understand what is happening to them. It is just not fair that little children can be struck down like this.
Even though i havent responded to many of your posts, i have been keeping track of how they are doing and their progress is amazing. I can only imagine how proud (and relieved) you must be. You parents arent doing too badly either lol.:p I know we would all walk to the ends of the earth for our kids but not many of us have to actually do it … the dedication and sacrifices you make inspire me. Keep up the good work and may the good news keep rolling in!

Thank you for the smiles. I’m going to show Dell. He’s building a tower out of cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, beno and misc. items on the coffee table right now.
I have GOT to learn how to put a photo on here, he’s so cute. He’s got a great personality. Last week, after he got his teeth cleaned, we went to the library. I put him on the sidewalk in his walker while I was getting the stuff out of the van and he told everyone that walked by, “I got my teeth cleaned”. He would point to his teeth.
Thanks again,
Love, Lori

Hooray for all of the kids! Its great to have good news and to hear that 3 are doing good! All of you parents have done a great job. I have kids and I know how hard it is with just a “simple” illness let alone GBS/CIDP. My hat is off to all of you. Keep us posted with their progress!

This is by far the greatest news on the site! Three cheers for the kids and their families! Happy news like this doesn’t happen often enough – what a joy to know these young lives have an opportunity to grow up a little less burdened by this crazy illness. Have a wonderful summer!
