Well, I know I’ve referenced the NEUROMUSCULAR DISEASE CENTER
Washington University, St. Louis, MO USA website before. But,

I was looking for side effects of CIDP when I found this page discussing medication choices.

      http://neuromuscular.wustl.edu/mtime/immunerx.html#aza

I liked this part in particular in relation to Imuran (generic azathioprine). “…Increased risk of malignancy Not demonstrated in neuromuscular autoimmune disease patients…”

Yeaah, I’m happy to hear it.

      Here’s your choices:

      Overview
      Medications
      Treatment strategies

      Azathioprine
      Corticosteroids
      Cyclophosphamide
      Cyclosporine A
      Intravenous immunoglobulin
      Methotrexate
      Mycophenolate mofetil
      Plasma exchange
      Rituxan

I followed that page back to an Index of sorts:
