Discussion on another thread about Flax Seed Oil led me to this discovery on a University of Maryland Medical Center web page:

“Cyclosporine — Taking omega-3 fatty acids during cyclosporine (Sandimmune) therapy may reduce toxic side effects, such as high blood pressure and kidney damage, associated with this medication in transplant
      patients.”

Sadly, there is no clear link to which one of the many Supporting Research references the claim is derived.

The original reason for my search was to find back up for a proposed ‘claim’ of mine that omega-3’s have benefits far beyond the cardiovascular system. I consider the search successful with this web page discovery.

Please note there a few ‘cautions’ and ‘more proof needed’ statements throughout the article on various subjects. You should always consult with your physician prior to taking any supplements.
