Lately, reports of contamination in our food supply has been a daily occurance. With so many of us on this board looking for healthy diets/snacks, particularly for our kids, I felt this report was important to be aware of:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to eat Veggie Booty snack food, marketed by Robert’s American Gourmet, due to possible contamination with Salmonella Wandsworth . . . .
is sold in all 50 states and Canada at retail locations and over the Internet. . . . .
. . . . . In infants, persons with poor underlying health and those with weakened immune systems, Salmonella can invade the bloodstream and cause life-threatening infections.
