Do you notice a difference in the brand of ivig?

I have another question on this forum that talks about how long it takes for ivig to take affect.

Dell is 2 and has had about 8 treatments. We’ve had Baxter and Carimune. We might have had another brand before we started keeping track of it. Thursday we had Baxter. I’m thinking it was just water because Dell’s neck is weak. We haven’t seen any improvment.

I wanted to know if ya’ll see a difference in the brand.

      Thanks, Lori

      Hey,
I sometimes wonder if im gettin water 2.
I have become alergic to ivig over the years. Some brands make the side affects worse for me. Yes, sometimes I seem to get a little stonger than at other times, but recently I been getting the same brand.. So, I’m just babbling really…

      Lori,

See my other response, there is a big difference between brands of IVIG in how it is processed. There are several brands which do not work for me and several that work well. The key will be finding what works best and trying to get the Dr. to specify that brand be used. For me Gammaguard works the best.
