Dell FINALLY getting his port

We are so excited. Dell is finally getting a port. We are in the hospital for solumedrol and the dr. agreed to the port. After admission, the surgeon was up to our room about 20 mins later and the anestesia person was up about 2 hours later.
It’s a dream come true, if we can just keep him infection free. I hope I’m not writing another post in a couple months complaning about the thing.

Dell got the port this morning. He’s sore but all in all it went very well. He’s in a good mood. We’ve been giving him tylenol and will go home tomorrow. He’ll get a dosage of antibiotics tonight.
