Deem/IVIG/Phresis

i was on IVIG for five months and continued to worsen. I finished phresis two weeks ago and have showed some improvement, maybe 10%, i remain on prednisone 60 mg a day and Cellcept 2000 mg a day.
Hope they find something that works continually for you. -

Beth – I am glad you have seen some improvement in the PP. How uncomfortable for you was the procedure, and did you have any side effects? I am seeing good results on my combination therapy and while not 100%, I am happy with how I have progressed. Like I said before, I am just frustrated because I am not sure the IVIG is adding any extra benefit over the prednisone. Maybe like others have said, it take a longer period of time. And, after finding out I possibly have Osteoporosis (at age 37), I am more anxious than ever to wean off of the Pred.
