      Please forgive me if this is in the wrong place, or if people disagree with my request / lack of info.

      Are the local support groups for GBS / CIDP patients? I am in Winston-Salem, NC, and would be very interested in meeting others who have dealt with this disease (if disease is even the correct term). Have others in different locales ever tried to meet up and establish relationships with others?

      Hope I am not too prying …

      Hello Doug,
      There is a foundation liaison, or a support person in Winston-Salem. Since the information is made public in the directory; which you will receive in a packet from the foundation (you can request one); I don’t think the liaison will mind if I post her name, number and email.
