I guess all of you are in the middle of your Christmas celebrations as I speak, but here it’s quite late at night on Christmas Day, and Christmas has been fabulous so far. When we returned from our son’ s in laws last night, I just had to go and see if something had happened on this thread and I got a really nice extra Christmas present reading all the greetings you had sent me, and of course each other.
I’m sorry Norb, the candles are electric. Only a very few take the chance of having real candles on their Christmas trees now since they make a great risk of fire, but up until I was five years old we only used candles. It is very romantic, but the romance is overshadowed by the risk.
I have to admit that this is not our Christmas tree in the picture, but our best friends’, where we always spend New Year’s Eve. But of course you’re welcome there!:D the couple is half American, he is from Milwaukee but has been living in Norway since the late sixties.
You go on enjoying yourselves as best you can:) 🙂
