I am reading:
“The Best Seat in the House”
HOW I WOKE UP ONE TUESDAY
AND WAS PARALYZED FOR LIFE
– by Allen Rucker (2007, HarperCollins)This Hollywood writer shares his story and insights after becoming paralyzed due to an auto-immune disorder. It’s not GBS, it was Transverse Myelitis.
The parallels to GBS are interesting but it is the way he describes what he went through physically, mentally and emotionally that makes this book such compelling reading.
I give it “2 Thumbs Up”……

I always have one or two books that I’m reading and several waiting……wife is a librarian, so I don’t even have to go looking for books!
I’m a “multi-tasker”…..sometimes I read, watch TV with captioning, and listen to the stereo…..okay maybe I’m more weird than a multi-tasker….
