Blood Gass

      Any one with breathing issues had a blood gas test done? What were the results…..what did this mean as far as assisting in diagnosis?

      they are likely testing to see how much oxygen vs. carbon dioxide is in your blood stream which can indicate breathing difficulties – for example I had a very difficult time breathing, my O2 level was about 90% which is not horrible but not great either so they gave me supplemental O2 but my CO2 level was normal so that indicated that I was not having trouble expelling waste gases so I didn’t need the assistance of a ventilator
