Arrived back home last night from my son’s wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, it was sunny and breezy. The wedding ceremony took place outside as the sun was setting, we couldn’t have asked for a more picture perfect setting. My 2 other sons walked me down the aisle like proud peacocks. At the end of the ceremony we released monarch butterflies. Then we went inside to start the party, great food and many drinks. I danced almost every dance. They had a candle lit throughout the entire evening with Frank’s name on it that said,”In Loving Memory of Dad, His Presence Is In Our Thoughts Always”. Of course I cried like a blubbering idiot.
Anyway, I just wanted you all to know how wonderful the day was.
Now tonight we are all going to my nephew’s wake, so that will be somber, but I got to enjoy every minute of Mike and Maria’s wedding.

Donna, That made me cry just reading about Frank’s Candle. What a touching way to Honor Him. I bet Mom was as Proud as a Hen also, being escorted by Handsome Sons. What a neat thing to release Butterflies, I bet it was quite the site. I’m glad to hear you were able to enjoy your son’s wedding. I’m sure that means alot to him and his new bride.:)

Hello Donna,
I think you and your son did the right thing by going ahead with the wedding and if your nephew loved his family, he would have wanted you to do so. Just wait until you have a new grandchild and when you hold that baby and breathe in the smell of a new life your mind will be relieved that yes we did right. We would all love to see the wedding pictures. You could mail some to someone to post them for you, or you could learn how to do it yourself. Remember how we used to enjoy posting gifs at holiday time and family photo’s.
Contact anyone of us who knows how to do it, Fireman Dave, Ken L, Jim C, Norb, Angelsecondclass (Cheryl) and myself. Cheryl learned how to post photo’s, but I’m waiting to see if she can post the gifs.

Brandy,
Save your pictures to your hard drive, or any drive that you can access with your computer. Then go to “http://www.imageshack.us/” [cut and past without the “]. Load the software. You should see an ‘Image Shack’ button on you Internet Explorer tool bar. Left click the button and you should see an screen that looks like the one below

Left click on the ‘Browse button’ and upload the image you want to post. Then right lick the ‘Host it’ button. After a few seconds you see a screen that looks like the one below.

Copy the “direct link” address [It’s on the bottom]. Go to the site and call up the forum you want to post to. At the top of the ‘Message:’ square on the second row of icons you should see a small yellow button that appears to have a mountain on it. Depending on your security setting, you may be asked if you want to temporally allow this function. Left click on the warning and left click on the ‘allow option’ then left click the yellow button again. You should see a small long rectangular window appear beginning with with http:. Paste the address you copied from ImageShack to the window and lift click the OK. You should see something like http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/7937/imagemakerace1.jpg with ‘[IMG]’ before and after it. You will need to add a few words of text and you all set. Use the Preview Post to check if it came outGood Luck. You can email me if you have any questions. I’m looking forward to see some of those pictures

Yup, that’s me squashed between the boys. The one picture is of my grandson Antonio in between his Mom(Maria) and Dad(Mike). The first picture isn’t from Mike’s wedding that was last October from Danny’s civil ceremony wedding. I made a mistake by sending that one. I’ll post Dan’s wedding pictures sometime in September after his big wedding.
In the pictures, looking at the screen, Jeff is my middle son, he’s to my left, Dan is the baby, he’s in the middle, and the handsome groom Mike my oldest is to my right. Of course the picture of Antonio and Mike is my favorite.
A Big Thank You To My friend Dave for posting these for me.
