AOL POSSIBLE SCAM ALERT, question the email

Hello,
I have an AOL email and membership and I recently undated my credit card info for membership. I think “someone” picked up that I had an expired card on file, prior to updating. I am now getting emails that look very very much like they are from AOL, so I started to respond. They are saying my AOL will be suspended unless I use their link to provide credit card info for payment. If anyone else get’s this, don’t give the information, TIPOFF, they asked for wrong security answer, they asked for social security number, my bank name, and credit card pin #. SCAM SCAM SCAM, even if AOL does ask for this info, go DIRECTLY to AOL site, don’t respond to emails.
