Sandra has posted that her friend Juanita has lost the battle with GBS. This has been such a sad fall/winter for our “GBS family”. Please know that each of you are continuing to be remembered as you grieve for the loss of your loved one. May your memories give you comfort.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. It makes me think of how lucky some of us are and all the battles we have fought and countinue to fight. She no longer has to she’s up in heaven dancing away!

Oh, this just breaks my heart! I was trying to be so positive and optimistic about Juanita, and now I feel awful for filling her with false hope. What a sobering post this is. I will certainly keep everyone who loves Juanita in my prayers as they deal with this terrible tragedy. 🙁

When will doctors, insurance companies and many others realize that this stuff is serious..Patients need diagnosis and treatment and they need it now, not later. It is so hard for me to keep reading about people we are losing to GBS when there are so many things that can be done..can’t they understand that no amount of money is worth someones life..

thanks for the prayers and kind words…..there was an autopsy done on juanita the day after she passed…the results will take some time….in february her daughter did contact a lawyer regarding some unanswered questions and the doctors not having damn clue…who knows what will happen…..but as for juanita….yes she is dancing away, free of pain and in a much better place….be well everyone
