We already know there is a Clinical Trial using Alpha Lipoic Acid for CIDP

http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00962429?term=alpha+lipoic+acid&rank=15

But, what I just learned on the Mayo Clinc Alternative medicine web site is that Alpha Lipoic Acid may also affect your blood pressure.

forwarned is forearmed.

Here is what Mayo clinic said: “Alpha-lipoic acid
Preliminary research suggests this antioxidant may be helpful in slowing or even reversing neuropathy that’s causing blood pressure or heart rate problems. However, more study is needed.”

I have taken the max dose for ALA and never had any blood pressure problem. On the other side, never felt better.
I think is on the other way, they are talking about how ALA improves the thin vessels blood flow.
