The Glasshouse Appeal was started by David Nuttall in 2003 to raise money for a specialist treatment centre for people with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Poly-neuropathy and other neuromuscular conditions.
The appeal was spearheaded by CIDP sufferer David Nuttall.
A decade ago, the 43-year-old father-of-three from Little Eccleston, near Preston, started to suffer stiffness and pain in his back which led to problems when he was walking.
