Hi Rod,
I’m not going to comment on the IVIG dosing, as it didn’t work for me.
But I wanted to mention to you that there is a drug called Neurontin, that works specifically on Neuropathy pain.
Perhaps you can ask your doctor for it, since you have the pain in your legs.

Neuropathy pain…

Terry,
I am so sorry for your pain, & I know the holidays must have been tough for you without your wife. We live in northern MN where -20 degrees F is not all that uncommon (that is without the wind chill.) My husband worked for Inland Steel for 30 years, just retiring a year ago. The last 5 years my husband worked, he had bid out of the plant where he had a great job, but wanted off of shift work. He accepted a job on the blast crew where he worked outside all of the time laying patterns. He did wear heaters in his boots & gloves, but had to wear the kind of gloves where the ends are cut off. Needless to say, now he gets very numb fingers when he has to go snowblowing or shoveling outside. They also get numb, tingly & painful, but it does go away.

My 28 year old son has also frozen his hands from snowmobiling & they are numb a lot. Have you thought of trying neurontin for the painful neuropathy? The only problem is that it must be taken on a regular basis…
