I think that not only did they not want any hint of the doctors not being on top of things, but they also like to have a happy ending. Like now the patient is back to normal type of thing. Just like House where every episode the patient is near death, but once he figures out what they have, boom, they are just fine again. I just wish all of our stories ended that way!
