mmmmmmm…..

yes, i had been wondering if i needed to get my 3 yr old vaccinated to protect me (am not keen to vaccinate for chicken pox otherwise) and my other children already contracted it before i got CIDP. ANyway 3 yr old and i have recently been in very close contact with a household full of active chicken pox and yet my 3 yr old didnt catch it nor did i have any probs, (although i was on twice weekly ivig so that may have gaven me some protection from developing shingles etc (i had chicken pox as child – and currently on immunosuppressants etc so thought shingles could have been somehting i may have been in for!)
that was over a month ago so guess we have escaped things for the time being but still does concern me a bit.
