Just curious!

I was just curious about this. What if a person can walk but at times can’t walk. With my disease there are days where I can walk around the house and then some days I can’t walk. One of my biggest problems is me standing on my feet too long. So it’ hard trying to clean my house when I am in that way.
Having a scooter chair for me would be like having that extra hand to help me get my housework done.
Hmmm! I might check into it! But wonder how much I would end up paying after Medicare! Thanks

๐Ÿ˜€ Just curious? Where do you get this item and what is it actually called and about how much is the cost? I would be willing to try it out if I think it will help me! Expecially with balance. I hate this balance problem I have. I look like a drunk walking half the time! And not even drugged up or drinking~LOL

thanks for the replies. The stress I’m dealing with is the illness and imminent death of my mother-in-law, we were very close. It’s not so much that I’m not ready to let her go just seeing her suffer is hard. My husband has 5 siblings but we’re the only ones that live in town although they are here to help quite a bit. I work part time in the mornings and teach piano in the afternoons and am trying to provide meals, support etc. for my father-in-law. I don’t really feel ‘stressed out’ so to speak, I’ve just gotten used to resting when I want to and that’s not happening. For those of you that are believers out there please pray for me, I know that’s what has gotten me this far and I know that whatever tomorrow holds, He holds tomorrow!

Just curious since I am new here and don’t have GBS but is there also foundations just for CIDP patients also or is it just one foundation covering both? Pretty stupid question huh? LOL! I took a pill for this nerve damage stuff and it has put me in lala land! Doofy Linda at your service! ๐Ÿ˜€

Just curious, Beth…

Why did you ask your neuro for pt? Did you think it would help or did your neuro give you reason to feel it would help? I just get so stiff and tight. I’m not disciplined enough to exercise on my own and not even sure what would be beneficial for me to try.

Why does your neuro test you every month prior to IVIG?

Thanks to everyone for answering all my silly questions. I’ve hovered this forum for awhile, too chicken to ask questions. Now they’re just coming out all over!

Thanks!
