I traveled 15 hrs to Mayo Clinic from Michigan

Lori, I absolutely LOVED Mayo Clinic. They were the first medical institution that was informed about CIDP. They were so organized and thorough. It was amazing. If I had gone there immediately when my symptoms began I wouldn’t be in the condition I am in today. I was going to Dr. Selwa in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She refused to do an EMG or Spinal tap and I trusted her and I ended up with permanent damage and cannot walk without assistance. I wish so badly I had went there when we first thought about it. But it was 15 hrs. away. I couldn’t fly as my symptoms got progressively worse after two two flights (six legs). Where are you traveling from? I stayed at a hotel that is connected to the hospital. I called the hospital and asked about hotels and got the phone number from them. Do you have an appointment. I went out there without one- but they got me in right away as a “checker”.
