Good to be back. Had to take time for tests, scans, surgeries, and doctors, doctors. Think I’ll have a drink for everything I had to do. That ought to make me a happy drunk. Just prop me in the corner and wake me if there’s a race tonight.:D

Hi Cheryl! So sorry you are having such a hard time with this. I really would not know what you can do. Maybe talking to a Social Security Lawyer about it. He would probably know more about situations like this. That is worth a try. Most of them give consultations for free! Hope this helps! Good luck Cheryl! I hope you get some help soon!

Hi Cheryl! With the photo I took of her… she’s turned into the giant Halloween Kitty Cat! ROFL! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ She was larger than our other cat that we found all in bad shape too. And we ended up actually having two stray kittens this year. Rambo and Pumpkin. Both were really small kittens that popped up in the month of June. Around the last week of June. Both then looked to be around 6 weeks old. So she is probably going on close to 5 months possble.

Then in July, I heard something outside underneath our steps and found another baby kitten and the mother cat was laying right beside it dead. She had been hit by a car or something and was taking the baby to a safer place and couldn’t make it and died. That kitten we had to bottle feed and hand rear. She didn’t even have her eyes opened yet. Little bitty thing! She’s small but a mess! We have a total of 10 cats!

We have a large wood building in our backyard and my husband and I put dry wall and insulation with a flooring and made it into a cat house. Got all their cat toys in there. We take two a week and bring 2 of them in the house to be with us during the week. They have windows, heat, air conditioning and a screened in porch! All have been spayed and neutered. Very high yearly vet bills too! Our vet though knowing us with so many cats give’s us a discounted rate! Which is good!

Our first cat was Bootsie which was 5 years ago. And three months later we ended up with Little Boy, then Snowie. Had three cats! Then my son got transfered in the Navy and left us his cat Piddens. All are 5 years old. Then 3 years later Sweetie came along… Huggiebear! Both are 2 years old. Last year Camino popped up and she is a year old. This year we adopted Pumpkin, Rambo and Baby Girl! 10 cats! Would have had more but I found homes for them. I can’t take in anymore unless one of them passes away and I would hate to see that happen for each of them have been so special.

All our cats were abandoned kittens that needed special attention. Meaning they were in a life threatening situation. Malnourished, mistreated or abused. Giving them to the SPCA.. we knew they would have been put down because of their poor health. They aren’t in poor health now! Little Boy was really abused! Have no idea what happened to him. He’s people shy. Scared to death of people. Will only have me or Andy and will not mess with anybody else. He hides and won’t come out if we have company. We sit there and watch him hide in a corner somewhere and he peeps his head out every now and then hoping the company will leave! LOL! Solid black with huge eyes! He talks to himself! Walks around all day long and talks to himself! If we do our hands a certain way around him he darts. So we think he got slapped around.

If I didn’t have the building, I wouldn’t have 10 cats. They all like coming in the house and spending their week inside! My husband every morning takes his coffee an goes to feed them. He sits with them for a while. Then in the evening after work he feeds them again their treat treat and spends a little time with them. I go out their once a day and play with them unless I an really bad off that day. Will take some pictures today and see if I can get them all in here!

Hi Cheryl! I have had 5 kidney stones over the years. Ohhhh don’t those suckers hurt! One night just out of the blue, I felt the urge to urinate and after I went to the bathroom and went back to bed, I started getting really bad pain on my left side. And the pain was getting intense. Next thing I know was me laying in doubled over in extreme pain and was screaming. My husband called an ambulance because I could not move and was in hysterics.
Got to the ER and they did a CT Scan and found 2 large kidney stones. No way of passing them either because of their size.
The other 3 I had before that were tiny and passed okay but felt like your uretha tract was getting ripped apart. It’s hard to explain the pain until you experience one.
I chose the sand blasting procedure and that helped alot. If this is your first time having these, then I would go for the sand blasting procedure. The stent procedure would require much more extensive surgery. Being that there is a mass of unknown etology. We know that cancer can spread fast if your opened up in surgeries. I would get the other procedure done with the stint after I find out about the mass and if I had another bout of large kidney stones.
The sand blasting procedure is much less invasive on your system than the stent procedure. Easier to do and less recovery time also. Being there is a mass, I would choose this procedure first.
Either way both will hurt. But the sand blasting would most likely be the best option.
I feel for you! Gosh! I know how bad that hurts! ๐Ÿ˜€ Been there and I know how those things feel. Painful as heck! Can’t say a dirty word here but the night I had those two. I was screaming at the nurses to give me something for pain. Tears were rolling down my eyes. And the nurse kept telling me that she had to get my vitals and meds list first in the computer. I laid there for an hour rolling in that hospital bed. And words were coming out of my mouth that I never use!
My husband kept telling me to calm down and I even told him where to go that night! LOL! I thought I was in my last stages of labor pains and was not pregnant! I had the small ones before but they passed and I did okay. They hurt but those two big ones were not my cup of tea.
Hope this helps Cheryl and I pray that mass they found is just something minor and nothing major. So I will keep you in my prayers! Hugs

Hmm! Normally that high of a dose for someone never taking it will make a person more aggitated but more energetic. I never noticed myself getting weaker on the prednisone unless I was dropping down the dosage to much meaning weaning off the drug. You could be having a side effect, but I normally don’t see people getting worse. Unless! You are misdiagnosed. Prednisone with GBS can make things worse and a person that has Cognitive Disfunction can react worse to Prednisone along with Fybromyalgia. I would call my doctor and let him know what is going on. I think that drug you are talking about is called Celcept. Normally, depending on the disease, prednisone will help. But some people do have problems. Not all but some may! I just have never had any bad side effects from mine. Give me 50mgs of that I am up and going then! Drop my dosage and I poop out! Hate to hear you are feeling so bad Cheryl! Cyber Hugs heading your way!

Hi Cheryl! So happy that you finally got a diagnoses so it can now be treated. So I wish you a very fast recovery and hope you get well soon. I’m still in lmbo waiting for a proper diagnoses. Very frustrating stuff! The prednisone will help you alot if it’s CIDP. Not sure about GBS with Prednisone but it will help with the CIDP issues. Unless you keep having constant attacks then IVIG”s are used. But maybe the prednisone will do the trick and get you well again. I wish you my best and hope you have a very speedy recovery. Good luck! Very good luck!

Hi Cheryl! I’m a little new to this GBS/CIDP myself and am trying to get a diagnoses for what is causing my CIDP. Kind of strange the symptoms. Many years back with Lupus and really before then, I started out in my left leg getting numb and tingly that went to the right leg. They did EMG and only found sensory neuropathy. Now I have CIDP of unknown etology. Was tested for everything. They finally diagnosed me with Lupus and then years later the neuropathy went into CIDP. Chronic Inflammatory Motor/Sensory Demylenating Neuropathy. Still waiting to hear from Duke. All these years though, they never did a spinal on me. That is what has me baffled. But I think they will at Duke. I hope!
You are in the right place here and I wish very good luck tomorrow and hope that you get the proper diagnoses and start the road to recovery. Sounds like you have had a really bad time these past 5 years and I pray that you start getting good luck here and get well soon.
Not fun being sick and the unknown is very scary! I wish you my best! Good luck tomorrow!

Hi Cheryl! Did they ever tell you what was the cause? I know you mentioned Lupus diagnoses and I to have that diagnoses. Bur now I have the CIDP going on too! Maybe I can so some more research and see what happens. Just wished I could get treated soon with this mess!
I have the pillow between my leg alot every night. And it’s funny you mentioned it but actually hang my feet off the bed. They feel like they can’t breathe under the covers. ๐Ÿ˜€
